Challenge

Designing this NCR Ranger Challenge Coin was no easy feat. Capturing the essence of the New California Republic’s most elite soldiers required precision in both artistry and detail. The goal was to embody the tenacity and bravery of the Rangers, while ensuring the coin would be a lasting memento for collectors and fans of the Fallout® universe. Balancing the raised 3D effect of the Ranger’s helmet against the subtle textures of the grizzly in low relief was an intricate process, demanding careful craftsmanship to maintain a visually compelling piece on

Process

The creation of this coin started with high-relief embossing to bring the NCR Ranger to life, followed by a lower-relief depiction of the iconic NCR Grizzly. Using a sturdy zinc alloy base, each coin was coated in an antique gold finish, giving it a timeless, battle-worn appearance. The final touch was a velvet-lined display box, enhancing the product’s presentation while preserving its pristine condition for dedicated collectors.
